My work has explored the themes of transition, renewal, and finding new energy. As I push the limits of my chosen medium of fused glass, I am also creating artwork that is constructed in layers or through a process that requires familiarity and flow. Life is full of layers. Layers of experience and knowledge, brain function and neuroplasticity. The layers of experiences become the stepping stones that form a path in our personal journeys. I play with ebb and flow as a metaphor for transition. In the past, I have explored the concepts of energy and presence and they re-emerge regularly within my artwork.
