This painting is inspired by my love for the genre of electronic music that I always listened to ever since my early adolescent years. Artists & groups like "Justice" and "Tame Impala" taking samples from music back then, inserting it to choppy technologic beats and psychedelic synths to the new wave in these past years.

With this inspiration I was able to make something that has my signature landscape of the desert but with synesthesia blocks and flows of color that I envisioned whenever I'm listening to these abstract sounds. The setting is inspired by the Canyons of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah where it's well known for squared rocks and swirled mountains that goes well with the transitions of each other, which is the same idea as electronic music whenever you are able to make different sounds together.
